Some of us dream to travel around the world, to visit places that are so exotic and we are ready to give up anything we want. There are certain places on earth which transcend beauty as we know it. I’ve known some friends who have taken this journey to follow their dreams and trust me, there is no better hobby than Photography. It gives you this sublime feeling of loneliness, yet makes your happy and gets you the satisfaction you always craved for. But, for most of us who are busy and have other commitments, photographs are the closest we can get to touching this “dream”.
Landscape Photography is an incredibly skilled form of Photography. It takes more than just a Photographer to capture the most beautiful shots at the right time, with the right environmental elements and not mention, a good camera. Once processed and enhanced digitally, it just makes us go ‘Wow’.
Landscape photography is a genre intended to show different spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. Many landscape photographers show little or no human activity in their photos, striving to attain pure, unsullied landscapes that are devoid of human influence, using instead subjects such as strongly defined landforms, weather, and ambient light. Despite this, there is no pure or absolute definition of what makes a landscape in photography, as such it has become very broad term, encompassing urban, industrial, macro and nature photography.
